Freddie Brown (born June 24, 1986) is a former American football wide receiver.[1] He played college football at the University of Utah, and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
In 2008, he was the leading receiver at Utah and helped his team to an undefeated 13-0 record - the best record in school history. He finished the season with 77 receptions for 900 yards and 7 touchdowns. Brown made three critical catches during Utah's 80-yard, game-winning drive vs. TCU, including a conversion on 4th and 5 as well as the go-ahead touchdown reception with 48 seconds left in the game. His final collegiate game was against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on January 2, 2009. He had 12 catches for 125 yards, which led to him and three other teammates being selected in the 2009 NFL Draft.
He was also a member of the Minnesota Vikings in 2010 for the entire last season of Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre's NFL career.
