The Free Cossack detachment is a part of the Russian Volunteer Corps[2], composed of Cossack volunteers.[3][4][5]. It was founded by descendants of Cossack Youth movements. [6][7]
History
The Free Cossack detachment was founded by descendants of Cossack Youth movements.[6] They would participate in the Battle of Avdiivka. The Free Cossack detachment would also fight in the 2024 Western Russia incursion under the Russian Volunteer Corps.[8]
