Free Russia Foundation (sometimes called FRF) is an international organization supporting civil society and democratic development in Russia. It is nonprofit (501C3), nonpartisan, with headquarters located in Washington, DC.[1][2] Its goals are “informing European, US and Canadian policymakers on events in Russia in real-time and supporting the formulation of an effective and sustainable Russia policy in the West.”[3] According to its website, Free Russia Foundation seeks “a free, democratic, peaceful and prosperous Russia, reintegrated into the international community as a constructive and positive actor.”[1] Free Russia Foundation has programs in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, South Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe, and North America.[1]
