Frenzy is the twenty-third episode of a TV Show. Before Kyosuke Higuchi could finish writing Touta Matsuda’s name on the death note, he is attacked by the L force, who had planned for this the entire time. They shot the tires to his car, Higuchi shot Soichiro Yagami with his gun, and then flees his car, realizing that this could be his final chance to kill Matsuda before his identity is revealed publicly, he pulls out his book, but realizes that he doesn’t have a pencil. Higuchi is forced to enter the radio main station building to find Matsuda. While inside, Higuchi enters the filming studio to realize that they were using a pre-recorded clip. Suddenly, Kanichi Takimura shoots Higuchi’s left hand, severely injuring it, Higuchi is forced to flee and finds a police car, he shoots the police officer dead and then drives away. Before he can get far, Shuichi Aizawa decides to return and help catch Higuchi, setting up a roadblock. Higuchi manages to go over the roadblock from a ramp, but then Aizawa suddenly shoots his tire, causing Higuchi to get launched onto the road and for Mary Kenwood to run over him. As the episode ends, Light Yagami and Ryuzaki Lawliet, who had been inside of helicopters watching this unfold, declare that this fight is over.
