Technology[edit]

The organisation uses technology to remove middlemen. Typically, fishermen have to auction the fish they catch. The app developed by Freshtohome is easy to use with pictures of different fishes and fishermen can choose and trade. The app is currently being used by 1500 fishermen across the states.[2] Freshtohome also supports the farmers with capital and technology to allow for large scale fish production.[9][6][14] The organisation adopted a contactless delivery model because of Covid 19 pandemic.[15]
