From A Certain Point Askew is an American Star Wars Podcast hosted by Jay 'The Angry Ginger' and Matt 'Darth Matthias'. The show launched in August 2020. Former host Cole left the show in August 2022 citing 'creative differences'.[1]
Format[edit]
The show follows an identical format each week, with the hosts covering recent Star Wars news, usually followed by a breakdown of that week's latest episode. Where there's no new content, the hosts will rewatch older content and discuss this.
The show usually ends with the 'Maulbag' segment, where the hosts will read correspondence from listeners, followed by a 'FACPAtoid', usually a Star Wars related factoid.
Each season usually includes a giveaway where listeners are entered into a draw to win a prize, usually a hand-built lightsaber hilt or merchandise branded with the podcast's logo, although the latter was removed [2]after a copywrite claim was lodged by Disney.
