The Front for Independence of Oromia (FIO, Afaan Oromoo: KALLACHA WOLABUMMAA OROMIYA or KWO) is a political organization established in 2015, by former Oromo Liberation Front army general, brigadier general Kamal Galchu to promote independence and self-determination of the Oromo People against the current government in Ethiopia.[1]
