FundsDLT is a Luxembourg-based company owned by Clearstream, Credit Suisse Asset Management, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Natixis Investment Managers[1]. It is a decentralised platform for the distribution of investment funds using distributed ledger technology.

FundsDLT began as a project of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and its subsidiary Fundsquare in 2016. The project aimed to explore how distributed ledger technology could be used in the investment fund industry. It grew into a consortium project that included KPMG Luxembourg and Intech at the end of 2016[2]. The platform was developed between 2016 and 2019 and a beta version was released in 2017[3]. That same year, it carried out the first-ever investment fund subscription on blockchain[4][5]. It was incorporated as a public company (société anonyme) in March 2020.

The FundsDLT platform is built on a private (permissioned) blockchain based on Ethereum[6]. The company uses the platform to provide automated tasks and services related to investment fund administration and order-routing. It is open to actors in the fund distribution chain.
