Fynn Kliemann (born 1 May 1988) is a German YouTuber and businessman. He appears in different fields as musician, author and mainly YouTuber.
Life[edit]
Kliemann grew up in the so called desert between Hamburg and Bremen and did an apprenticeship in the profession as media- and print designer (Mediengestalter) at a school in Bremen. He lives close to Zeven and has a long-standing girlfriend.
Youtube[edit]
Kliemann became popular for a YouTube channel called Heimwerkerking Kliemann (Handyman King Kliemann), now simply called Fynn Kliemann in 2015, where he tried to repair or build stuff without extensive knowledge of the individual trades. Together with the managing directors of the TV production company Cineteam Hannover, he acquired a riding stable in Rüspel close to Zeven in 2016. The courtyard became the Kliemannsland, a playground for handycraft and creative projects as well as venue for the in-house YouTube production of his other channel Kliemannsland.[1][2]
Music[edit]
Kliemann co-wrote and published two albums with singer-songwriter music. In 2020 Kliemann received the German music award 1 Live Krone and the MTV Europe Music Award as Best German Act.[3][4]
Business[edit]
Kliemann is active in several businesses and established himself as brand founded a number of firms for different aspects of his activities. His fashion label oderso is a cooperation with the fashion firm of Tom Illbruck Global Tactics, of which he also holds shares. His first company was his design firm Herrlich Media in Zeven. For his TV-series Das Hausboot with Olli Schulz he founded another company as well. He founded a company for the cultivation of hemp for CBD products and a business for the rental of vacation homes. Kliemann's company network includes at least eight companies, two GbRs and a holding company for asset management.[2]
In 2020 he collaborated with"Global Tactics to promote his own fair-produced COVID-Masks in Germany. Kliemann claimed that these masks were produced in Portugal under fair wages and conditions for the employees.[5][6] De-facto the masks were produced in Bangladesh and Vietnam under poor circumstances. A delivery of faulty FFP2 masks from Vietnam were donated to refugee camps, pretending these were quality masks from Portugal.[7][2]
