Günter Prinz
Günter Prinz (born July 30, 1929 in Ober-Weistritz; died November 14, 2020 in Hamburg) was a German journalist.[1]
Life
His father was German newspaper journalist. Prinz was former CEO of Axel Springer Verlag. After he finished school in Berlin, he began to work as journalist for newspaper Tagesspiegel in Berlin. Then he worked as journalist for Berliner Morgenpost and newspaper B.Z. in Berlin. Since 1959 he worked for German magazine Quick in Munich. Since 1966 he worked in the following years again for German newspaper BILD in Hamburg. From 1971 to 1981 Prinz was editor-in-chief of German newspaper Bild.[2][3]
He was married and had three children; one of them was his son was German lawyer Matthias Prinz.[4][5]
