G-Research is a privately held company founded in 2001. It is a world-leading quantitative research and technology company that is revolutionising how we use machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data analytics to predict prices in global financial markets. [1][2].

Technology

In 2018 G-Research held a financial forecasting challenge with a prize of $30,000. They invited participants to accurately forecast financial returns using their data set [3].

G-Research Lecture Series

The inaugural lecture[4] featured Scott Aaronson on the topic of quantum computing, giving an insight into the latest developments in the drive to make quantum computing a practical reality.

The series continued in June 2017[5] at the IMAX theatre in London’s Science Museum with a lecture by Data Journalist and Information Designer, David McCandless. David explored how visualised information can help us comprehend, navigate and find meaning in a complex world[6]
