GIBIRNet
GIBIRNet, as of September 13, 2019, provides internet service and infrastructure management services across Turkey.[1]
The company, based in Konya, Turkey,[2] is headed by CEO Halim AK.[3] Gıbırnet is authorized by the Turkey Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA; original abbreviation BTK).[4] Gıbırnet's contract with the incumbent operator (Turk Telekom) makes clear that it uses common infrastructure across Turkey to provide infrastructure services and internet service. The company has achieved the necessary licenses[5] by completing the security and infrastructure procedures[6] in accordance with international standards.
The firm serves individual and corporate customers, offering dynamic IP and static IP. With a device to be connected at the points of use, IPSec etc., it also enables point-to-point and point-to-multipoint data transfer over the internet using protocols. Since the company has the Authorization of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK), all internet traffic is carried out securely, and the security of data is audited by the Information Technologies and Communication Department.[7]
