The GSLV F-15 will be the 17th flight of the GSLV and the 11th flight of Mk2 version. It will carry the NISAR satellite, the World's Most expensive Earth-Observation and Radar-Imaging satellite as its payload.

This Flight of GSLV will countinue with Eco-friendly White paint over the Cryo-stage as introduced in the previous flight.

Initially The vehicle was planned to launch on March 30 2024, carrying the long delayed NISAR satellite to orbit.[1] However, ISRO chairman S.Somanath said on 19th March 2024 that thought the preparation for launch were underway the GSLV scheduled to be assembled by the end of March or the first week of April, a few issues with the payload meant a longer delay for launch and that it would only launch in the second half of the year.[2]
