Synopsis[edit]

g4ce is a successful market research company run by a group of teenagers who concentrate on what youth wants next by testing goods to destruction, with the help of the aptly-named Buster. So successful has it been, that a corporate giant, The Hard Drive Corporation, has taken it over and sent in an accountant, the gorgeous but glacial Robyn, to sort them out...

Characters[edit]

  • Gerry (Played by Steven Cree) - The new Boss of g4ce. Good looking and slick, his innate charm and manipulative skills get him what he wants. Promising promotion and incentives, he plays each character off against the other and almost breaks the unity that is g4ce.
  • Robyn (played by Imogen Walker) - The beautiful frosty accountant sent from Hard Drive to sort our gang's financial chaos. She pulls no punches and has everyone running round after her.
  • Lisa (Played by Hannah Nicol) - The Man-eating Lisa gets cheesed off that Nina gets Gerry before she can get her claws into him. She uses all her womanly wiles to get Gerry to notice her - without much success.
  • Buster (Played by Robert Martin) - The pocket size demolition man is generally up to mischief again but this time he clocks what Gerry's up to pretty early on. Hiding in Gerry's office, Buster discovers secrets Gerry was keeping from the others.
  • Maria (played by Maria Hastie) - Gerry gives Maria the sack but Wee Kev comes to the rescue and sub-contracts her to work for him. She attempts to help Sean launch a trades union movement when the work conditions get tough, but much to Maria's disappointment, Sean sells out!
  • Nick (Played by James Young) - Our computer whizz kid. Nick moves into Nina's flat, but she only has eyes for Gerry. Nick does all he can to change his image to win her round. Nick comes of age in this series and leads the fightback to re-claim g4ce.
  • Nina (Played by Carman Pieraccinni) - Our animal loving new age hippie has grown up a bit. Nick fancies her but it's Gerry who woos her and she takes his line in many of the ensuing arguments of Hard Drive verses g4ce. Eventually she sees the error of her ways.
  • Sean (played by Andy Weir) - Isn't happy that his younger brother Wee Kev gets promoted leaving him to do all the menial tasks. He falls for the icy accountant Robyn, only to get her sacked! But all is not lost, he's still got Ayr United!.
  • Wee Kev (Played by Calum Coutts) - Always looking for a quick way to make money, when Wee Kev gets offered the job of right hand man to Gerry he grabs the chance. With his new powers he bosses the others about and also continues to do dodgy deals to make money on the side.
