G K Nath is an Indian poet, singer, composer, lyricist, actor, performer,translator & social worker. He was born in 1991 in Durgapur, one of the special subdivision towns of West Burdwan district. He spent a very short period of his childhood i.e. only two and a half years in Durgapur. After that he spent the rest of his life in Kolkata. His secondary school was "Panchasayar Siksha Niketan" and his higher secondary school was "Garia Barada Prasad Uchcha Vidyalaya" And above all the college was "K.K. Das College" located in Garia. He is currently involved as an English teacher at an NGO school called "Light House". He is also associated with various social and artistic mediums. Since he is a poet, he was involved in writing poetry as well as editing magazines. He has two bands of his own. The first is the Poetry Band (Apostle) and the second is the Rock Band (Black Hole). He has worked as a senior advisor to several bands. Drawing book covers and writing audio dramas as well as acting in various short films, making special documentaries and anchoring at various events are some of his works.
