Gabriella Demetriades is a South African model and actress.[3] She was a Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood 2009 contestant and was chosen as one of FHM's "100 Sexiest Women In The World" contenders.[4] Demetriades is most famous for being "Miss IPL Bollywood" in which she represented the IPL team Deccan Chargers.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

In 2009, Demetriades competed in the Miss Bollywood SA title along with 48 other South African women. She represented the Kolkata Knight Riders after being picked from the crowd of spectators watching the cricket match between Deccan Chargers and Rajasthan Royals.[citation needed] She has been active in Indian advertisement scene, the recent being the Aisha Advertisement of Micromax Mobiles. She acted in a promo song of Malayalam movie Red wine, with the song Neelakasham kaividum. She appeared in a music video opposite Aditya Narayan, in his single Tu Hi Pyar Hai. She also appeared in the movie Sonali Cable in a reprising role.[vague] In 2015 she starred in Telugu-Tamil language movie Oopiri.[5]

Personal life[edit]

She is in a relationship with actor Arjun Rampal. On 23 April 2019, she announced her pregnancy with partner Arjun Rampal via an Instagram post.[6] Demetriades gave birth to a boy in July 2019.[7]
