Gad Liwerant (born February 13, 1970) is an American inventor and businessman. He is the founder and CEO of VideoShare and president of VSCM Capital Management.[1] Liwerant is also a co-founder of eBrick and Level99. He is known for his inventions related to the distribution of video content technology.

Patents

Due to patent rights violations, Liwerant’s company VideoShare has filed lawsuits against several companies, including Meta (formerly Facebook), Google, YouTube, Brightcove, Viddler, and Vimeo. VideoShare won its lawsuit against YouTube and Google with a verdict of $25.9 million for compensation to the plaintiff. The lawsuit against Meta was resolved subject to a confidential settlement agreement. The cases against Viddler and Vimeo were also settled and dismissed, and VideoShare voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit against Brightcove.[2][3][1]
