Gal Rasche
Gal Rasche (born 1960),[1] also known as Galina Kroutikova[2] and Galina Mauracher-Kroutikova,[3] is a Russian-Austrian conductor and pianist.[1]
Born in St. Petersburg, Rasche studied at the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory.[1] As of 2007 she taught piano, music theory, and music history at the Vienna Conservatory,[1] and as of 2017 taught piano at the city's Prayner Conservatory.[1][4] She has conducted the Viennarmonica orchestra at the Vienna Konzerthaus.[5][6]
Rasche and her husband run a guest house, Pension Mozart, in Vienna.[2] Rasche self-publishes illustrated books about composers on a print-on-demand basis.[2][3][7]
