Galactic Records (simply credited as Galactic) is a legitimate record label that operates as a subsidiary of Republic Records. It was founded in 2019 by American rapper Lil Tecca, following his single "Ransom" in 2019. The label is based in New York and currently holds three acts: Lil Tecca himself, rappers Tana, and TokenVlone. The label was founded around Lil Tecca’s album "We Love You Tecca" (2019). Its producers include: Based1, Lucas Rosse, mrsir, and Menoh.
History
In 2019, Lil Tecca founded Galactic Records regarding his mixtape "We Love You Tecca", which peaked on the Billboard 200, earning 600,000 units. Lil Tecca made another new album, his 2019 mixtape "We Love You Tecca 2"; it reached the peak of the Billboard 200, earning 30,000 units in its first week (including 1,000 pure album sales). Tecca released a single, "Never Left", and on Friday, HotNewHipHop wrote that although the track was not quite... The next day, he released another single, "Repeat It", featuring fellow rapper Gunna.
In 2021, rapper Tana signed to Galactic Records, making his 2020 single "14" with KA$HDAMI, but it did not reach the Billboard charts; then he made "Antisocial" with Slump6s, but it did not reach the Billboard charts, and he made a sequel to "Antisocial" featuring other rappers Slump6s, Yung Fazo, Xhulooo, and SSGKobe for another song, "Antisocial 2". In January 2022, Tana made a single called "Off The Leash" featuring Yvngxchris and Luisss; it was uploaded on TikTok and people started to use edits and skits to create a famous opportunity for a hip hop song. On January 27, 2023, Tana made a studio album, "GAULTIER"; it had versatile musical flavors, and it set a tone in each vocal and chorus. In 2024, Tana made an album, "BANA", which did not really peak on the Billboard charts. In 2025, Tana made the singles "New Cash" and "Magic City".
In 2023, rapper TokenVlone signed to Galactic Records, making his album "wakeuptokin".
