Galli ( The Lane ) is a 2015 Indian short film written and directed by Santosh Ram and produced by Vivek Chitra Production
Production[edit]
The production of the film commenced in May 2014 and was completed in July 2015.The crew were selected by Vivek Chitra Production.The movie was shot in Kolhapur ,Maharashtra.The Director shot the movie in real locations without any problems .The film was shot in 8 different indoor locations of Uttareshwarpeth,Kolhapur. All the actors were from kolhapur and they were given the dialogues of the local dialect.
Synopsis[edit]
Galli (The Lane) is about the people and the Life in the Lane . The Film tries to explore the incidents happening in Seven days time . It highlights the contrasts, similarities , paradoxes , randomness and abstractness of contemporary human life with the universal themes of Birth, Trust , Loneliness , Frustration , Friendship , Happiness and Death. There are Fifteen stories in two forms which try to define LIFE and The Lane connects them.
