In today's date the gaming industry is gradually becoming very huge. A lot of people have started transitioning from their past careers to gaming. Some people like to do casual gaming whereas others play games for a living. The first question that arises in your mind will be 'How do I start gaming'. Well gaming today doesn't just mean to play games, it means a lot more.


Different gaming careers:

  1. Competitive Gaming or Esports

  3. Game Developer
  4. Esports Team Owner


Competitive Gamer

Being a competitive gamer requires a lot of hard work. It basically means playing a games and joining gaming tournaments either as an individual or in a team. A competitive gamer has to go through a lot of practice and has to constantly participate in different tournaments and competitions. To make yourself more popular you can also do gaming streams on youtube or twitch or any other streaming platform where you can live stream your game play and along with create videos and post them, which will give a boost in your popularity and also you will get paid once you reach a number of subscribers or viewers.

When being a competitive gamer you also are going to need good gaming gear which includes a good keyboard, mouse, a 4k monitor.

You will also need a good microphone, camera and lights if you are streaming.
