Gandhi Institute for Education & Technology (GIET ) is an engineering college located in the city of Temple Bhubaneswar in the state Odisha, India.It is an Institution of Gandhi Group, which is a largest educational group of eastern India. It was established in 2009 with the approval of AICTE and Government of Odisha affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. GIET is an ISO 9000:2008 certified institute.[1]
The institute had NBA Accreditation and also accredited by NAAC "A+" certificate.

This college is situated near Khurda which is about 24 km (15 mi) from Baramunda Bus Terminal, Bhubaneswar, 26 km (16 mi) from Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar and Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
Courses[edit]
This Institute is for B.Tech students which offered Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering streams. Mech, EEE and Civil branches each have 120 seats and rest of branches have 60 seats each. But recently Diploma and M.Tech degree courses are added to the courses. It offers 07 undergraduate, 02 postgraduate, 02 Diploma Streams.
Facilities[edit]
GIET facilities include above 30 acres (12 ha) of college campus, sport facilities such as a gym, a play ground, a basketball court, a library and a student center having general shop, book store etc. And two big canteens are present. It has four Boys Hostels and two Ladies Hostels.
