Ganesh Subramanian is an Indian entrepreneur based in Bangalore, Karnataka. Subramanian is better known as former chief operating officer at Myntra.[2][3][4]

Education and career[edit]

In 1992, Subramanian graduated from the Anna University with a Bachelor of Technology degree. He started his career at Coats Viyella India Limited as a management trainee in sewing thread division. Subsequently, he moved into the garment fabrics with Morarjee Textiles and retail through Bharti-Walmart as general merchandising manager.[5]

In 2012, he was appointed as chief merchandising officer at Myntra.[6] Later, he was named chief operating officer of the company.[7][8] During his tenure at Myntra, the company was acquired by Flipkart for $330 million.[9][10] In October, he resigned as head of new initiatives of Myntra[11], he also stated "I am starting something on my own in the consumer internet space".[12]

Notably, in 2015, he founded Stylumia, an artificial intelligence based fashion intelligence start-up to predict fashion trends.[13][14] The company was awarded Circular Changemaker at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2019.[15]
