Started in 2018, Gaon Dastak[1][2] is an online news delivering organization registered in India. It targets news about Indian rural matters, Indian politics and farmers around the world. Its editor is Mahendra Kudiya.[3] Gaon Dastak attracts about 50,000 unique visitors daily which includes politicians, policy planners, journalists of major newspapers and television channels. It gets quoted often by the Two Circles,[4] Hnews,[5] Apn News,[6] Youth Ki Awaaz,[7] etc. It provides platform for young voices from the youth and farmers communities to be vocal about their understanding. Their views are published in the "Farmers"[8] section of the website.
