Gaspar Noe
Gaspar Noé (Spanish: [gasˈpaɾ noˈe], French: [ɡaspaʁ nɔ.e]; born 27 December 1963) is an Argentine-French filmmaker based in Paris and son of Argentine painter, writer, and intellectual Luis Felipe Noé.
He's a celebrated and controversial movie director and he is a member of the movement New Extreme Cinema, directing such explicit and cult films as I Stand Alone (1998), Irréversible (2002), Enter the Void (2009), Love (2015), Climax (2018), Lux Æterna (2019), and Vortex (2021).
He have collaborated with such personalites as Asia Argento, Dario Argento, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Travis Scott, and he's also know for directing the explicit music video for the Placebo's song Protege-Moi of 2004 and the promotional sex-secure short film Sodomites, in 1991.
As today is married to filmmaker Lucile Hadžihalilović, who collaborated with him on many movie productions and distributions, and he collaborated with Saint Laurent, for which he directed the promotional films Lux Æterna and Saint Laurent - Summer of ‘21.
He is an atheist and feminist.
