Gazundering

Gazundering is when a buyer (especially of real property) lowers their offer on a previously agreed sale price, just prior to the contract being signed. When costs have been incurred by the seller in reaching the point prior to the contracts being signed, he may accept the lower offer rather than walk away from the deal with nothing to show for such costs.
