Gebeta is a puzzle board video game that provides players with unique experience, with special boosters and power-ups added to the game. It is loosely referenced on the African board game, Mancala, which is called Kalah and Congkak in some parts of the world.[7]

Release[edit]

Qene Technology CEO, Dawit Abraham, said the game release would be on 1 November 2019 with soft launch to Android and would release on iOS version soon after. He also added that the game would increment multiplayer mode shortly after launch. In the development, Qene Technology envisaged the game to bring prominence to the African continent and even to the world.[8] In 2021, the game widely launched through Play Store and App Store.[2] On 15 March 2021, the game was released on iOS, Microsoft Windows and MacOS versions.
