Geeta Zaildar is an Indian-Canadian singer, lyricist, and actor, who is best known for tracks "Kanian (Chitte Suit Te)", "Seeti Maar Ke", "Billo Nach Nach Ke", "Sair", "Heartbeat", "Ranjhe", "Nain", "Underestimate", "Bukal", "Thumka". He debuted into the Punjabi music industry with his first album “Dil Di Rani”. Zaildar debuted in Punjabi cinema with the 2012 Pinky Moge Wali.
Early life[edit]
He was born in Jat Zaildar family of Jagir Singh and Gian Kaur in Garhi Mahan Singh village of Jalandhar district of Punjab. He completed his education from Government High School there. In college he sang the songs of Gurdas Mann and Kuldeep Manak in Bhangra competitions. He studied under Ustad Janab Shamshad Ali, a music professor of Amardeep Shergill Memorial College Mukandpur. After completing his education, Zaildar moved to Canada.
Career[edit]
He released his first album Dil di Rani in 2006. He acted in the Punjabi film Pinky Moge Wali (2012).[1]
