Geetanjali Pandit is an Indian author[1] and motivational speaker[2].[3] She writes about the association of spiritual phenomena with a modern lifestyle[4]. She is best known for her 2017 book Buddha At Work. She was a motivational speaker in STARup, India's biggest startup summit in Delhi[5].

Early life[edit]

She is an alumna of Delhi University's Faculty of Law and of XLRI, Jamshedpur.  She received her MBA from XLRI - Xavier School of Management in 1994.  While studying towards a Masters degree at Lesley University in the United States, she lived and worked in the house of Professor John Kenneth Galbraith. Her book is about the life transitions that overtook her early professional years. She worked in human resources roles from 2001, starting with Feedback Infra (then Feedback Ventures), working at EIH (East India Hotels) and has been the Chief HR Officer at The India Today Group and Zee Media Corporation Limited.[6]

Pandit is the author of Buddha at Work,(ISBN 978-9350096321 Search this book on .)[3] published in India with Hachette Book Publishing India Pvt Ltd,[7][8][9] Australia, New Zealand, the UK,[10] and translated into a Bulgarian edition.[11] The book is a semi-fictional explanation of implementing the teachings of Gautama Buddha in a practical manner to attain happiness, balance and positive change in the workplace.[12][8] The book has become influential for many management public figure's like Seshagiri Rao, CFO and managing director of JSW Steel[13].
