Genesis Park
Genesis Park is a Houston-based lower middle market private equity firm that focuses on investments in information technology, telecom, financial services, energy, and transportation and logistics in the Southern U.S.[1] The firm was founded in 1999 by Paul Hobby, Peter Shaper, and Steven Gibson.[2]
The firm specializes in private and public carve-outs, management buyouts, distress situations, growth capital, and family and founder-led businesses.[3] Typical investments have revenues of $5 million–$100 million and EBITDA of $2 million–$20 million.[4]

March 2002: CapRock Communications.[15] Genesis Park exited CapRock Communications in 2006.
