Geoff Mann (born Edmund Geoffrey Mann on 11 April 1956) was a British artist, playwright, poet, musician and vicar.

After graduating from the University of Reading with a degree in Fine Art, he spent three years as a professional artist, holding exhibitions in Cambridge, Blackburn, Accrington, Manchester, Bury, Blackpool and Stockport between 1978 and 1981.

In August 1981 he accepted an invivation to join some old university friends as lead singer in the band Twelfth Night, performing at the presitigious Reading Festival on 28 August 1981. Over the next two years, the band would headline the Marquee Club in London, appear again at the Reading Festival and release the albums Smiling at Grief and Fact and Fiction.

Mann left Twelfth Night in November 1983 after two farewell gigs at the Marquee. These are documented on the album Live and Let Live.

Geoff's post-Twelfh Night work was guided by his conversion to christiany. He released three solo albums between 1984 and 1986: Chants Would Be A Fine Thing, I May Sing Grace and Psalm Enchanted Evening, all recorded quickly and distributed by Geoff himself.

In parallel he wrote the play A Conveniant Day, which was performed at the Latchmere Theatre in Battersea and at the Edinburgh Festival, and took the lead in the musicals The Dawn, Tomorrow and A Cry in the Wilderness in 1985-1987.

Mann formed The Bond in November 1985 with Steve Ridley (keyboards), Dave Mortimer (guitar) and Andy Mason (drums). Mason would leave after a few months, with the remaining musicians using a drum machine for recording. The Bond released two albums: Won By One (1987) and Prints of Peace (1988). The Bond were succeeded by Eh! Geoff Mann Band between 1989 and 1993, releasing Loud Symbols (1990) and Ministry Of The Interior (1991). In this period, Mann released two albums with guitarist Marc Catley.

Geoff enrolled on the Northern Ordination Course in 1986, graduating in 1989. He was appointed deacon at Christ's Church, Harwood (1989-1992) and vicar at St. Luke's, Rochdale (1992-1993).

Geoff's health began to deteriote in summer 1992. His final musical projects were the solo album Second Chants (1992) and a collaboration with Clive Nolan called Casino (1992).

After a flawed diagnosis of Crohn's Disease, a new conclusion of intestinal cancer was confirmed. Geoff died at home in Rochdale on 5 February 1993.
