Geoff Muirden
Geoffrey Muirden (2 October 1941 – 31 July 2006) was an Australian author, known for being a Holocaust denier.
Muirden graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in the arts.[citation needed]
He subsequently worked for the Victorian Department of Education in various senior roles. He was acting director of the Adelaide Institute in 1999.[citation needed]
He was secretary of the Australian Civil Liberties Union in 2004,[1][2] which has been characterised as "one of Victoria's foremost racist and Holocaust denying organisations" and Australia's leading neo-Nazi group.[3][4] He was also a supporter of Christian Identity and believed that there was an international Jewish conspiracy".[5]
He wrote numerous articles on historical and political topics, particularly those of a contentious nature.[citation needed]
