George Chomakov (Bulgarian: Георги Чомаков; born 19 November 1990) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a midfielder for American soccer club Liquid Football and previously played for Detroit City FC.
Club career[edit]
On 1 December 2013, Detroit City FC signed Chomakov on a free transfer from Michigan Stars [1] After spending eight years with Detroit City FC, Chomakov left the club on 31 December 2021. In the summer of 2022, Chomakov was announced as one of the founders of MWPL club Liquid Football.
Style of play[edit]
Chomakov is known for his playmaking abilities as a midfielder, adept at transitioning play from defense to attack. His primary strengths are his precision passes and ball control.
