George Cicotte
George F. Cicotte (born August 20, 1967) is an American employment and healthcare attorney. He graduated from law school in 1995 and worked for Covington & Burling before founding his own law firm in 2002.
He is a candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Washington's 4th congressional district.
Early life, education, and business career[edit]
George Frederick Cicotte was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to George R. Cicotte and G. Denice Cicotte, and attended Lower Dauphin High School, in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. After graduating in 1989 from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and working as a consulting actuary, he attended Brigham Young University to study law.
Upon graduating from law school, Cicotte worked at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. He eventually moved to Kennewick, Washington, where he started his own law firm in 2002.
Private practice[edit]
Cicotte's firm, the Cicotte Law Firm, LLC, covers all areas relating to employee benefits.[1] The practice also engages in matters relating to health plans, taxes, and other employment matters.[2] The law firm employs one associate attorney, one paralegal, and one outside counsel.[3]

Political life[edit]
On February 17, 2014, Cicotte announced his intent to run for the United States House of Representatives in Washington's 4th congressional district.[6] On March 6, 2014, George held press conferences in Yakima, Washington, Kennewick, Washington, and Moses Lake, Washington to announce he had entered the race.[7] One month later, on April 7, 2014, Cicotte announced the results of a straw poll that gave him more than an 8-point lead on his nearest competitor.[8]
Platform[edit]
George states three goals if elected to the United States Congress: fix what he views as the damage caused by the Affordable Care Act, create workable and ethical immigration solutions, and balance the federal budget.[9]
