George Morales
George Morales (born July 8, 1989), also known by his social media name DroppinHammerz on Instagram is an American videographer, film director, content creator and actor, he is best known for creating content on the social media application Instagram and YouTube. Morales is the filmer behind all of internet influencerSteven Fernandez YouTube shenanigans.[1]
Early life[edit]
Morales was born in Mission Hills, California but resides in Pacoima, California. Morales started off his film career filming skateboarding where he later earned his nickname "DroppnHammerz" due to the likeness of favorite professional skateboarder Jim Greco.[2] Morales attended Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga, California from 2004–2007. He attended school with classmates Hollywood Undead Dylan "Funny Man" Alvarez and New York Yankees Giancarlo Stanton.[citation needed]
Career[edit]
In 2009 Morales started filming amateur skateboarder from all around the San Fernando Valley, before grabbing the attention and likeness of Steven Fernandez and his cousin and than manager Jose Barajas. The group later went on to create social media accounts for Steven Fernandez and started to use the talent of Morales' video and editing skills to film Fernandez.[3]
In 2012, Morales filmed his first viral video "How To Get Girls" with Fernandez and Barajas, being featured on the website WorldStarHipHop.[4]
During the 2012 filming of DGK: Parental Advisory, Morales appeared as a background actor casted by director Randall Kirk II in the documentary video about a group of skaters.[5]
In 2015, Morales was the filmer for CAS (Calling All Skaters Organization)[6] skateboarding tour with professional skateboarders Shaun Hover and Christian Hosoi. Traveling through different parts of Asia in association with Stephen Baldwin, Revival in the Philippines, sponsored by Vans and Dew Tour.[7]
In 2017, Morales was featured on a Vice Media article by Allie Conti, about the quest for fame for Steven Fernandez. He was mentioned as acting manager for Steven Fernandez, during their 2016-2017 Lil Cloud tours and about Fernandez's career.[8]
Personal life[edit]
As of June 2020, Morales resides in Pacoima, California. Morales has one sibling. He is the owner of Rose Love Collections LLC an appeal brand started by him and Fernandez in 2017.[citation needed][9]
