George Siopsis
George Siopsis, Ph.D. (born 24 April 1961) is a physics professor at the University of Tennessee. His research focuses on theoretical particle physics.
History[edit]
Siopsis was born in Edessa, Greece. He studied at Sussex University in 1982 for his undergraduate degree and then moved on to the California Institute of Technology in 1987 where he received his masters and doctorate degrees. After a brief stint at Texas A&M he became a full professor at the University of Tennessee. He has a wife Maria, and sons Apostolos and Dionysios, and a daughter called Jasmine.
