Georgia Ferrer aka Athena Velasco-Francisco or Adyang is a fictional character in the Filipino teleserye Ika-6 na Utos. Georgia is the prominent villain in the series and considered the main antagonist who creates tension for all the characters. [1] Georgia is described as a killer mistress due to her attempts on the main character.
She is characterized by cruelty, jealousy, and wickedness; she is also Emma's main rival for Rome's heart. She also orchestrates the murder of Emma, though Emma survives. [2] Later, Georgia takes full responsibility for all the kidnappings and killings; she also killed her sister, Geneva. Though Georgia is very mentally unstable due to her paranoid and completely obsessed personality, that will bring her to a downfall. She was portrayed by Ryza Cenon.
Georgia is known as ruthless, cunning, and calculating in escaping the authorities and her crimes. She also frames other people to hide her secrets. She can be known as a violent murderess and the most hated character due to her extremely wicked demeanor.
Character Summary
Georgia will do anything to win Rome from Emma and uses her seductive charm to make Jerome fall. With Margarita's supervision, Georgia will eventually win Rome temporarily due to her successful dark schemes; especially a conspiracy where Emma and Angelo, Emma's unrequited lover, unexpectedly slept in the same bed. This led to Rome and Emma's separation.
Georgia, on the other hand, plots to murder Emma together with her partners-in-crime, Selma Bautista and Dave, but Emma successfully escapes and seeks Angelo and his sister, Flor, for help and revenge. [3] Meanwhile, Jerome, Austin, Margarita, and Georgia start a new life in the United States. Emma, now a courageous and charming lady, seeks revenge after all the happenings in her life, including when her father Noel left her mother Lourdes for a younger woman. Georgia's schemes work as Jerome begins to despise his mistress. As well as Emma's road for revenge to win back her beloved son and husband from her archenemy, Georgia. Angelo and Emma, now in a relationship, face trials as when Jerome meets Emma again for a second time around, and learns that the love they had still exists as Angelo's jealousy drove him to agree and be involved with Georgia's wicked schemes. Flor, Emma's best friend, will face trials in their friendship due to Emma not returning the love for her brother that he deserves after all. Loleng (Odette Khan), supportive of Emma along with Mando and Vicky, staff in Fuentabella's, will discover the plot of Georgia faking her pregnancy so that she will be successful in having a forced wedding with a doubtful Jerome.
After the death of Austin, unintentionally caused by Georgia's schemes and wickedness, Emma's angst and rage against Georgia grow wilder as Georgia and Emma become pregnant, with the same father, Rome. Georgia's baby was named Sydney, who will eventually die due to her mother's karma for attempting to kill Emma's baby in a car collision. Georgia, determined and desperate to do everything to banish Jerome and Emma's new offspring, Milan (Angelica Ulip), steals the baby after it was born, the same day it was allegedly Georgia's delivery, seeks help for her schemes with Angelo as Angelo agreed out of his unrequited love for Emma. [4] With Selma's help, Georgia renames Milan as Sydney, and introduces her as their daughter, and of course, DNA test approves that Rome is the father of "Sydney". Emma, devastated that her daughter Milan "died", seeks comfort in Angelo, and Jerome despises her for blaming her for what happened to Milan. On the other hand, Loleng eventually discovers that Sydney is Milan through the unintentional actions of Dave and Brian. Georgia learns about this and plots to have Dave finish "Doña Consuelo," but Loleng suffers a comatose state and eventually selective amnesia, but is alive. Emma learns about her daughter that was "killed" by Georgia through a manipulated fire incident in the hospital where Emma delivers her baby through the scheming Brian who wants money in exchange, which leads Georgia to "tokhang" Brian with Dave's help. This will lead Emma to seek justice for Milan, but through Georgia's manipulations, the law will order a 'not guilty' plea for Georgia. So when Noel, the returning, repentant, and now wealthy father of Emma, helps his daughter to take revenge on Georgia, and let Georgia suffer. Noel tortures Selma, leading to Selma's temporary hiding in Davao, leaving Georgia helpless, returning as a prostitute and a beggar. On the other hand, Geneva, Georgia's long-lost sister who just married a wealthy Japayuki in Japan, arrives in the Philippines to sort out her mistakes for her family and to reunite with her best friend-sister Georgia. Like Georgia, Geneva is also villainous and manipulative, but she redeems herself and sides with Emma in the end. [5] Georgia, under deep hatred for her sister, triggers Geneva to do everything to reminisce the good relationship they once had. Meanwhile, Geneva, the unrequited admirer of Angelo, learns that Angelo is in a relationship with Emma, her sister's main nemesis. Geneva will do anything to win Angelo and help her sister in her revenge against Emma. Emma, breaking up with Angelo due to the latter's returning love for Jerome and for Angelo spending a night with Geneva, accuses Angelo of attempting to rape her. This will lead to Flor's disgust with her brother and Emma's hatred of Angelo and will cause Jerome to fight with Angelo out of displeasure for his fiancée. Towards the end of the series, Georgia always schemes against Emma, until she is imprisoned after killing her sister. [6] [7] She was also tortured in jail. [8][9][10] But she escapes and is ready to strike back at her enemy. [11] [12] [13] She later attacks Emma's wedding day and shoots Flor with a gun. [14] Later, she kidnaps Emma and tortures her while hanging her from a gallows, but she is distracted by Rome. Emma escapes and gets in a car, but Georgia gets in too. [15][16] [17] Later, Emma leaves the car, leaving Georgia in a car crash that explodes, leaving Emma and her loved ones safe. [18]
