George "Georgie" Kelly (born 22 February 1993) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a Forward for Irish Premier League club Dundalk

Club career[edit]

Kelly played with Derry City's U19 squad before making his senior debut in March 2015, coming off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Dundalk.[1] He went on to make two more substitute league appearances in the 2015 League of Ireland Premier Division, as Derry finished in seventh position. He left the club at the end of the season and joined UCD on a football scholarship.

At UCD Kelly made 68 appearances, scoring 37 goals in two and a half seasons and winning the Collingwood Cup inter-varsity competition in 2016.[2] His 17 goals in the 2017 League of Ireland First Division is a club record.[3]

He joined Dundalk in the July transfer window in 2018[4] and scored his first goal for the club in the FAI Cup the following month.[5]

Kelly made his European debut in the 2018-19 Europa League for Dundalk, coming on as a substitute in the home win against FCI Levadia.[6]
