Spraggon moving to Newcastle United was announced on 21 July 2021.[1] She scored in her debut for the club in a 6-0 win against FC United of Manchester Women on 15 August 2021.[2] She would score three more goals for the club in the 2021-22 football season, including a 3-0 win against Stockport County Ladies[3], a 3-0 win against York City Ladies[4] and a 6-2 win against Leeds United Women.[5] Spraggon finished the 2021-22 season with 24 appearances (including 10 from off the bench) and 4 goals scored.

In the 2022-23 football season Spraggon appeared in significantly less games with the Newcastle United first team as she was made captain of the newly launched development team. She appeared in one match with the first team, a 9-0 win over Merseyrail Ladies at home.[6]

On 8 July 2022, Newcastle United announced the launching of a new development team with Spraggon as the captain.[7] Under her captaincy in the 2022-23 season the development team won the Bluefin Sports Insurance Women's Cup and the FA Women's National League Reserve Plate.[8] [9] While playing with the development team she scored her first hat-trick for Newcastle United in October in a 3-1 win against Chorley Women Reserves.[10] On 9 April 2023 she scored a hat-trick in a 11-0 win against Bradford City Women Reserves[11], and later in the month scored four goals in a 13-0 win against Barnsley Women Reserves.[12] Spraggon finished the 2022-23 season with 20 appearances and 23 goals for the development team.

In July 2023 Spraggon announced her departure from Newcastle United on social media.

She made her first and only appearance for the first team in September in a 1-0 loss against Middlesbrough, during which she was substituted off after 73 minutes.[13] She also played for Durham Cestria Reserves, playing her only game for the reserves team in a 7-3 win against Leeds United Reserves.[14]

In September 2023 Spraggon announced on social media that she was returning to Newcastle United. She played her first game back in the Newcastle United Development team in an 8-1 win against Hull City Reserves in September, during which she scored four goals.[15] Her second game in September with the development team resulted in a 9-0 win against Bradford City Reserves, with Spraggon getting a hat-trick.[16]
