Ghandour Cosmetics Limited is a cosmetic industry in Ghana founded in 1996 by Tanal Ghandour and his two brothers.[1][2][3] The company was awarded the Premium Quality Cosmetics Brand of the Decade at the 2021 Global Business Quality Awards held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.[4]
Establishment[edit]
Ghandour Cosmetics Limited was established by Tanal Ghandour and his brothers in 1996 at Abossey Okai in Accra to manufacture, retail, and market hair and skin care products in West Africa.[5] In 2013, the company extended its distribution and market to Eastern Africa. In 2015, Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd introduced Africa's first luxury perfume, the Scent of Africa with Oluchi Orlandi and Marcel Desailly as its brand ambassadors.[6][7]In 2022, two new fragrances: Rakh and Nefee, were released as part of Scent of Africa’s latest Eternal Legends Collections.[8] Ghandour Cosmetics Limited is headquartered at Spintex Road in Ghana.

Ghandour Cosmetics Limited specializes in personal and hygiene care products segmented into: skincare, hair care, hygiene, baby care and perfume.It produces Princess Paa cream and lotion, BO-16 range of hair care products for women, Style Up roll-on and wave gel, Baby Boy & Baby Girl range of baby care products and Scent of Africa.[9] Their product, Princess Cocoa Butter and BO-16 Hair Care won 2014 Cosmetics of the Year at the Made In Ghana Awards.[10]
