Ghofeyleh prayers
Ghofeyleh prayers (Persian:نماز غفیله) (Arabic:صلاة الغفيلة) The prayers is Mustahabb of Shia Islam. This prayer between called the Maghrib prayer and Isha prayer. Ghofeyleh prayers is two Rakat, which is called after Maghrib prayer.[1] In the first Rakat of Ghofeyleh after the Sura Al-Fatiha , this Ayah (Ayah 87 and 88 of Sura Al-Anbiya) to be read. And in the second Rakat after Sura Al-Fatiha (Ayah 59 of Sura Al-An'am) read."[2]"[3]
Philosophy of Ghofeyleh prayers[edit]
One of the reason why it is recommended to say ghofeyleh prayers, is that Jonah neglected for a second so he was separated from his tribe and his faith grafted by fish and sea and then god blessed him and saved him from fishes stomach. Muhammad the Islamic prophet's emphasize to say this special prayer is because of saving us from external and inward cruelty that we neglect and perpetrator every day."[4]
Ghofeyleh prayers and repentance Yazid[edit]
Some have claimed:Yazid I ibn Mu'awiya after the killing of Husayn ibn Ali (AS) and view public discontent, the Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin asked whether the repentance and salvation of the work there. Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin said to him if Ghofeyleh prayers read God will save you. Zaynab bint Ali of Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin asks : Is the killer his father to teach repentance? Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin replied: He will not be able to do this prayer. This Hadith is not quoted authoritative sources , there are also objections to its content entered."[5]"[6]"[7]
