Ghost OG is a cut of OG Kush cultivated by the breeder Ghost and is a hybrid strain loved for its balanced cerebral and body effects.[1]

The user "Ghost" was a popular member on the forum overgrow.com before the website was shut down.[2] Because many phenotypes were spread amongst this online network it is thought that OG Kush got its name from this site.[3] Josh D maintains he is the originator of OG Kush, and member "Ghost" has been developing his grow of Ghost OG from a cut of JoshD's OG Kush. Although it's told that a forum member by the name of OrgnKid passed the cut to a forum member named Ghost, giving the strain its name.[4]Thought to be a one-off of Chem Dog, OG Kush is instrumental in today's cannabis market.[5]

Ghost OG is a 70/30 Indica dominant hybrid named after an incognito breeder with username “Ghost” on an Internet growing site. Ghost OG is a clone only phenotype of OG Kush. The original, true Ghost OG is clone only, though others have crossed clones of Ghost OG with other OG Kush strains to create seeds. Ghost OG, a cut of OG Kush, is a hybrid strain loved for its balanced cerebral and body effects. Often described as simultaneously potent and non-intrusive, Ghost OG has won itself Cup awards and renown among consumers. Its strong citrus smell and crystal-covered buds hint at this strain’s strong genetics and its ability to annihilate pain, insomnia, depression, and anxiety.
Ghost OG has a visual appearance of light green buds with very little leaf matter spiral around thin stems. Dark orange to crimson stigma is sparse around cured flowers.
