Ghost website

Ghost website, or simply ghost site, is a website that is live and accessible, but that is no longer maintained nor updated, for a very long time, and thus can be considered to be abandoned and possibly forgotten about. A website that produces error when accessing it, is not considered as ghost website.[1][2]
Exploration[edit]
Discovering a ghost website may be difficult, due to search engines such as Google Search, usually not showing them in the search results.[3]
