Gianno Caldwell (born 1986) is an American political strategist who is the principal and founder of Caldwell Strategic Consulting, a bipartisan lobbying firm located in Washington, D.C. He is also a One America News Network commentator.

Early life[edit]

Caldwell is a native of Chicago. He graduated from Grand Canyon University, with a degree in psychology.[1]

Career[edit]

Caldwell gained political experience as a member of the advance team for the 2012 Mitt Romney campaign and as the Director of Government Relations for Naperville Township, DuPage County, Illinois for Congressman John Shimkus.[2][3] He is a member of Project 21 an initiative of the National Center for Public Policy Research.[1] Caldwell works as a political contributor for The Hill newspaper.[4][5] He has also contributed to the Washington Times CurrentSee magazine.[6]

Television[edit]

Caldwell made his first television appearance on the One America News Network on the February 19, 2015 edition of The Rick Amato Show where he discussed foreign policy.[7]

He has given political commentary on CBC News, CNN, Fox News Channel Happening Now, and The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann on RT America.[8][9][10][11]

Caldwell had an on air clash with show guest Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, on News One Now with Roland Martin on TV One.[12]

Caldwell discussed the ideological battle to capture the African American vote with Governor Sarah Palin on the One America News show On Point with Sarah Palin.[13][14]
