Gianna Brielle Perez, known professionally as Gigi Perez or simply Gigi,[1][2] is an American singer-songwriter.[3] Born in New Jersey and raised in Florida,[3][4] she has received praise for her confessional songwriting.[5][6][7][8]
History
Gianna Brielle Perez[9] was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida.[3] In 2018, while in high school, she began releasing music with band Wendy Lane.[2] She attended Berklee College of Music.[10] In 2021, her track "Sometimes (Backwood)" went viral on TikTok, prompting Interscope Records to sign her.[11] Her debut EP How To Catch a Falling Knife was released in 2023 via Mogul Vision and Interscope Records.[12][13]
