Biography[edit]
Early life and education[edit]

For his primary education, he went to Mbizi Primary School and then went to St. Peter's Kubatana for his secondary education. He later on moved to Churchill Boys High and finished his senior high school education at Gifford Boys High[2]
Teen entrepreneur[edit]
Gilbert started displaying his business skills when he was still in high school. Just after he finished writing his Ordinary Level exams, Gilbert got his first job as an internet café assistant through his self-acquired knowledge. Apart from this, Gilbert worked during weekends as a home satellite dish installer for his friends and family. Over time, it later on developed into a paying part-time job that he had to recruit two of his friends to help him, where they installed satellite dishes for 2000 households at the age of 19. Eventually, the demand for their kind of services declined and Gilbert had to look for other income-generating means.[3]
