Gildo Bartocci
Gildo Bartocci (9 August 1925 – 5 August 1984) was an Italian sculptor and engraver.
Bartocci was born and died on the Isola Maggiore on Lake Trasimeno, Italy. He spent the major part of his career in Belgium where he graduated in 1956 from the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts. He studied with Jacques Moeschal. He worked in various studios in the Brussels area.
Between 1962 and his death, Bartocci exhibited in Belgium, Italy, Canada and the US. In 1987 a retrospective of his work was held at the Château du Lac in Genval, Belgium.
