Girish Dubey is the son of a farmer from Uttar Pradesh. He was born in Varanasi in 1991, in a Brahmin family. His brother, Pushpendra, is also an engineer at an MNC company.

He was meant to begin his professional career as a basic computer teacher in 2010 at F-Tech (2011).
