Glassdoor is a website where employees review their current or previous company. While reviewing their identity is not disclosed to other people by Glassdoor. The website was launched in 2008.[2]

In 2018, the company was bought by the Japanese firm, Recruit Holdings, for US$1.2 billion.[3] The company is headquartered in Mill Valley, California, with more offices in cities around the world, including Chicago, London and São Paulo.
