The school is divided into 3 programs, English (core), French extended, and French immersion. To get into the French immersion program pupils have to come from a French immersion elementary school. The school also divides the classes up by music program, the school has 3 music programs, general, band and strings.
Location and transportation[edit | edit source]
The school is located by Lawrence Avenue and Avenue Road, as such the school is served by Toronto Transit Commission lines 52 (A,B,D and F), 61, 142 (downtown express) 97 (A, B and C) and rapid transit Line 1 Yonge–University. Since the school is close to Lawrence Station it's also served by Toronto Transit Commission lines, 62 and 124. Although a little further, the school is also serviced by Toronto Transit Commission line 7 running on Bathurst. The school is roughly 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from York Mills GO Transit terminal. Major arteries by the school are Lawrence Avenue, Avenue Road, Yonge Street and Bathurst Street. The school is located right beside Chatsworth ravine.
